The scientists of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Science of the Republic of Belarus make diggings and researches; a tourist route from the Varangians to the Greeks was made; work with handicapped children is being done; research of the historical treasury house building was made; a Swedish bus has been granted to the town in care of an initiative group member, this bus became a mobile information center, which will benefit in future to unification of the people’s and administrative units’ interests (2005 – 2010)

A tourist route over the town of Disna was developed, which includes building of viewing points, resort places, signs, indicating significant places; leaflets for tourists and a brochure for potential customers were published (2008 – 2010)

A tourist resort site was built in a park at the point of Disna and Western dvina rivers confluence.

The decision on “Measures on improvement of the infrastructure and development of the town of Disna" has been taken, its realization started (2008 – 2010).

Acquisition of practical experience by tourist private houses owners, advising on privileged crediting; cooperative development of tourist routes (2004 – 2010).
